Artower Display Examples: HTML Heads,
http://www.htmlheads.com - Important Information - I worked approximately 1 1/2 years at Artower Agora, situated in Downtown Athens, Greece. Artower is a fairly tall building composed of 6 galleries (1 on each floor) which overlook the Acropolis. I was hired to create and build a massive online representation of their 'Cultural Center' as well as continue administering it which kept me busy since every month they held different exhibitions there as well as various different other programs. Usually multiple exhibitions occured on different floors and sometimes big cultural events which featured artwork and events on every floor. Therefore, there was a lot of material that continually had to be produced as well as a lot of replacing and updating material while cataloguing the "old" exhibitions. At the same time, I had to expand the site In addition to having the responsible of building and maintaining their corporate website (http://www.artower.gr), I designed all the webgraphics and layouts. There were graphic designers who worked at the gallery but they produced all the printed material needed. I produced from scratch all of the web graphics on the site (95% of the site there is still my design work including all the layouts and online posters.) The reason this section of the site exists is because since I left Artower, the current site administrator has altered some of my work which mostly reflects in unfinished pages with links that don't work or just big gaps of white spaces which you can currently see on the index page. These unfinished pages and graphics are not at all a representation of my designing skills so I added this section to showcase examples of my work there. Most of these pages can be found while flipping through the current site, while other pages I recovered from a saved CD of work. Click this link: http://www.artower.gr to see the current Online site which still includes much of the work which I've done. |
